As the premier launch of the #SikapPinoy event, the stage was set with more than 300 people from 10 barangays participating in the educational event held in the Mangrove Conference & Convention Center By Astoria in Astoria Palawan. Incredible speakers encouraged Palaweños with stories of hope and lessons on fishery and farming livelihood projects.

With over 230 participants from all 3 barangays of Boracay, namely Balabag, Manoc-Manoc and Yapak, the Boracay #SikapPinoy 2019 event was a rousing success! Invitees came from all walks of life, with local government employees, tattoo artists, hair braiders and fisherfolk all mingling together to learn more life skills.

With over 600 participants, divided into two sessions, #SikapPinoy saw the progress that Filipino communities from Port Barton, San Vicente and other Palawan barangays had made from the first event in 2018. Once again, Filipino resiliency was celebrated with livelihood empowerment.

The audience of the #SikapPinoy 2019 event brought home new knowledge and skills to 180 corporate professionals. With the best national speakers tackling in-depth and hard-hitting topics regarding financial planning for growing families, spiritual enlightenment and physical health, all participants left with a better sense of well-being.
