The Ortigas Business District is the financial and central corporate hub located within Pasig City. It is one of seven business districts in Metro Manila and is governed by the Ortigas Center Association, Inc. Spanning over one hundred hectares of land and covering the three main cities of Mandaluyong, Pasig and Quezon City, the Ortigas Business District is a bustling cosmopolitan center that plays host to a diverse mix of commercial, residential, and technological zones.

More than just home to the country’s prime business district, Makati City is a treasure trove of experiences and surprises for travelers and long-time residents alike to discover and re-discover. Apart from the towering office buildings and posh hotels, Makati City is home to many museums, art fairs, and avant garde pop-up cinemas that are worth immersing in. Of course, those out for the perfect retail experience have high-end malls to browse, while nature lovers can visit various parks to exercise and relax. With a robust transportation system in place and safe, accessible underground and overhead walkways, it is easy to get around to where you need to be.

Astoria Palawan, as an advocate of responsible tourism, is proud to be one of Puerto Princesa’s most eco-friendly and sustainable resorts. Our property is built on a foundation that is grounded in love and respect for Mother Nature. This is why we made sure to use only sustainable and green materials, methods and practices in the development of our resort.

Winner of the coveted Conde Nast Traveler’s World’s Best Island Award in 2016, Boracay is “as close to the tropical ideal as you’ll find in the Philippines, with gentle coastlines and transporting sunsets.” Before its rise to prominence, Boracay was a well-guarded secret unknown to many but a few locals. It was only during the 70’s when German traveler Jens Peter wrote rave reviews about the secluded island, that Boracay came into the spotlight. Decades later, the small island in the Philippines has become the biggest and hottest tourist destination in the country and one of the best in the world.

Rich in culture, history and a myriad of natural wonders, the province of Bohol has become one of the Philippines’ top vacation destinations. The picturesque town of Baclayon (located 10 minutes from Bohol’s capital, Tagbilaran City) is home to the Baclayon Church and Museum which houses a relic of St. Ignatius de Loyola and an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary said to be presented by Queen Catherine of Aragon. Nearby is a monument of bronze statues of Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legaspi and Datu (King) Sikatuna sculpted by National Artist Napoleon Abueva, depicting the famous “blood compact” at the actual site.
