Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Check audit data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and relevance of information
- Gather additional evidence through interviews, observations or use of historical data
- Examine control procedures to determine internal control adequacy and propriety
- Evaluate gathered information and documents for compliance with set procedures
- Validate findings with concerned personnel to obtain an explanation in case of deviation or non-conformance
- Collate summary of findings, causes, recommendation and action plans
- Prepare and submit an audit report to the Internal Audit Supervisor for review
- Monitor the status of recommended actions and provide a monthly report for a review of the Internal Audit Supervisor.
- Conduct compliance audit regularly to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Investigate reported the incidence of fraud in accordance with established procedures
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in BS Accountancy or its equivalent.
- CPA, CIA certification is a plus
- At least 1-year work experience as an auditor in a Hotel/Hospitality Industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Good working knowledge and skills in computer software applications
- Able to work under pressure
- Willing to be deployed with different Astoria Properties
- Can start immediately
