Job Description:
The Motorpool Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, availability, and safe operation of the company’s vehicle fleet, including vehicle dispatch and scheduling, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, registration, insurance, fuel monitoring, and compliance with road safety and company policies. The role supervises drivers, mechanics, and other motorpool personnel, coordinates with accredited repair shops, suppliers, and service providers, monitors repair costs and spare parts, maintains accurate vehicle maintenance and service records, responds to breakdowns and operational transportation requirements, and recommends major repairs, vehicle replacement, disposal, or acquisition based on condition, utilization, and cost efficiency. The position requires relevant experience in motorpool, fleet, or transport management, preferably within the hotel, hospitality, or service industry, with strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs, preventive maintenance, cost control, and team supervision.
