Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing & Cash Management
- Accurately take customer orders using the central POS system for single or multiple food hall stalls
- Process payments across all standard formats: Cash, Credit/Debit cards, e-wallets (GCash, Maya), and QR Ph.
- Issue order call-out buzzers, token receipts, or order slips for kitchen pickup.
- Perform daily cash float count at start-of-shift and execute end-of-day drawer reconciliation/balancing.
- Ensure precise tracking of discounts (Senior Citizen, PWD, promotional vouchers) in compliance with local regulations.
Guest Service & Menu Knowledge
- Assist guests with queries regarding food stall offerings, ingredient lists, house specials, and dietary restrictions.
- Suggest drink add-ons, side dishes, or stall combinations to drive upselling.
- Resolve minor cashiering or order adjustments quickly; escalate customer issues to shift supervisors when necessary
Station Maintenance & Support
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization at the cashier counter and billing area.
- Restock counter essentials (receipt paper, napkins, cutlery, takeout packaging).
- Coordinate basic order status updates with kitchen runners and floor staff during peak hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Edution: High school graduate, Senior High School (K-12) graduate, or Vocational Certificate in Hospitality/F&B.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of cashiering experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR), food courts, retail, or hospitality is preferred.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in operating POS software, card terminals, and digital payment devices.
- Language: Conversational fluency in Tagalog and English (Taglish) to assist local and foreign guests.
- Math & Accuracy: Conversational fluency in Tagalog and English (Taglish) to assist local and foreign guests.
- Physical Fitness: Conversational fluency in Tagalog and English (Taglish) to assist local and foreign guests.
